Ride the California Coast at the
2010 San Luis Obispo GranFondo
San Luis Obispo, CA – Cyclists planning out their 2010 event calendars may want to reserve October 23 to ride along with pros and amateurs at the SLO GranFondo, for a journey along the beautiful California Central Coast. The popular ride “Pedal to Pier” has moved to the fall and will become a GranFondo. This inaugural SLO GranFondo enables cyclists of a wide range of abilities to join Team HTC-Columbia and other guest riders while supporting Alpha, a local, nonprofit agency serving families in San Luis Obispo County.
Riders will be challenged by some of the world’s most beautiful terrain along the rugged coast of northern San Luis Obispo County. The ride offers three fully supported routes throughout San Luis Obispo County to suit the occasional rider or the seasoned competitor. Cyclists of all abilities will tour the diverse riding landscape that is home to Team HTC-Columbia. Announcements of participants will be forthcoming.
Early registration rate is $100 until June 1, 2010. Rates increase to $125 closer to event date. Go to www.slogranfondo.com for route and registration details.
